In Q2, only two new projects outperformed the benchmark. Despite their current prices, they remain largely overpriced imo. Data excludes projects launched in the last week of June and those with a market cap (circulating supply) below $10M.

Been thinking a lot about this recently. Feels like 9 out of 10 launches have been down since TGE. Driving attention is much easier pre-launch but once it happens feels like a downward spiral. Paper hands, unsustainable tokenomics, and brutal competition does that to you.

One more pretty early-stage AI stable joins the fray with a pretty unique proposition—a stablecoin that optimizes for the best stablecoin yields across a set of stablecoin strategies. Not naming names right now because they're super early, but the team operates a pretty sizable lending protocol on one of the L2s. This stablecoin will operate as a sort of omni-chain vault standard that can rebalance & move assets relatively quickly across chains & across protocols in search of the best risk-adjusted yields. Think scouring through Ethena, Resolv, USDC/USDT, RWA stables, lending strategies across Base, Arbitrum, Bera, Mainnet, etc., rotating to find the best stables' organic yields + incentives. The goal is to gradually involve AI as part of the decision-making process to find the best yield opportunities across chains as well as to optimize the rebalancing process. The team is also working on AI-driven market intelligence designed for chain-specific yield opportunities discovery dashboards. - Got a chance to meet many of @TheoriqAI team for the first time and was pretty impressed by how much thought they've put into designing the infrastructure in place for DeFAI use cases + highly niche user acquisition & user retention workflows. Pretty cool to see that both Theoriq and @Almanak__ are pursuing AI Tokenized Vault infrastructure, i.e., a swarm of agents pushing code/smart contracts instead of using LLMs directly to manage/interact with the funds. (If you're not aware, big money & institutions are much more willing to allocate capital into traditional DeFi protocols/smart contracts because they're code... they're open & auditable & can't hallucinate.) The focus of Theoriq is to create laser-focused workflows for specific ecosystems starting with @KaitoAI, positioning as a user acquisition & retention layer for Kaito, e.g., AI-driven market intelligence on $KAITO staking/DEX LP'ing/Pendle LP'ing opportunities, airdrop claiming & market intelligence on Kaito partner projects, and more. A lot of emphasis is on LP'ing - the team will help users get started with Uniswap v3 LP for Kaito, and there'll be additional incentives allocated to the KAITO LP pool to kick this off. The end goal on the other side is to have fully autonomous LP AI systems that help optimize yields for users while enhancing liquidity for partner ecosystems. This will likely be done both internally & through other agents' projects since at the heart of it, Theoriq is a meta agent swarm that acts as an agent discovery layer that finds the best agents/protocols to perform and execute tasks & workflows that they're good with. They've built extensive infrastructure on agents messaging + AI tokenized vaults + agents attribution (attributing action to agents for verification/evaluation ⇢ enables use cases like agents referral program with other agents & humans). Once they expand to more ecosystems, they can build cool agent use cases like Hyperliquid liquidation protection agents, Pendle LP agents, etc. All in all, pretty excited about what Theoriq is working on addressing. In the short term for the Kaito workflows products, the current UI/UX needs a lot more refinements, but once they nail this down, it could be something that people could use on a daily basis (instead of spending hours to DYOR). - There's going to be a huge ecosystem/distribution network that will launch in Q3. They're going to launch an L1 designed for agents with full-on infrastructure to build an agent + 3D companion. $15M in funding/grants to help projects kickstart their agents builder journey. This will be a product-first ecosystem with infrastructure to build 3D models, voices, personalities, animation, skills, context, MCP/tool kits, etc. The goal will be to have agents with products live on Day 1. The system is designed with Apple Store style of product discovery in mind instead of the trading-focused approach that we see on existing distribution networks. Can't name names yet, but an official announcement should come out in 3 weeks+ Personal Note If Cannes is less hot & has less smoke (or at least has more AC), Cannes would be a pretty cool city.
